Want to go on an adventure? Alpaca my bags!

By FreshSocial 26 Jun 2017

Yes, you can see Alpacas in Glasgow. Exciting!

If you ever want to do something different or you're just bored of Netflix, this is for you...

Get yourself to Netherfield Alpaca Farm (about 45 minutes drive from Glasgow) and meet your new furry friends! It doesn't cost much either, there are deals on Groupon for only £12, or check out their website

Don't drive? No problem. Jump on a train from Glasgow Central to Hamilton, then get a bus to Coalburn and the farm is walking distance from there.

All the Alpacas have their own personalities, go meet them and see who is your favourite:

  • Columbo: He's pretty feisty and tends to stare over at the lady alpacas in the other field.
  • Darcy: She's the extremely cute 20-month old.
  • Spirit: He absolutely loves scratching up against the trees.
  • Caspian & Colby: These cute brothers are inseparable and love spending all their time together.

What are you waiting for? Go check it out, it'll be a different experience and a great day out. Don't believe us? Don't just take our word for it...

Eve - Assistant Accommodation Manager at Foundry Courtyard - said: "It was a fantastic day, we learned a lot about Alpacas, got to feed them and meet the other farm animals. It was great fun - highly recommended!"

Seriously, how can you say no to that cute face?
