Accommodation

Meet your GLENSIDE Resident Assistants!

By UWEaccomm 12 Oct 2020

Glenside Campus have a dedicated team of three Resident Assistants that are available to help every evening between the hours of 18:00 - 00:00, with an on-call service throughout the evenings. The RA mobile number, if you don't have it already, is available from the porters lodge, reception or you can email accommodation!

If you need a chat, have some event idea's, have a noise complaint, have been locked out your flat or simply have questions about how something on campus works - give them a call!

Ashlea

Hey, I’m Ashlea and I’m in my second year at UWE, studying Physiotherapy. Please come up and say hello if you see me around on campus. I’ll be the one sprinting to class, because getting up before 9am should be illegal - just saying. Change is wonderful but it can also be scary and it’s comforting to know there is a friendly face around for the times when Uni life can get a little overwhelming. As a resident assistant, my job is to make sure that living at Glenside is fun, easy and safe for everyone, so please don’t hesitate to contact me if you’re feeling down. Everyone has their own struggles and there’s only a handful of things that a cup of tea and a chat can’t solve. I look forward to meeting you all soon.

Georgie

Hey everyone, my name is Georgie and I am a first year Physio student. First year can be a little overwhelming at times and it is always nice to know that there is someone not too far away to have a (socially distanced) chat with every now then. As one of your Resident Assistants and also a fellow first year, I am more than happy to help so please do not hesitate to contact me or come and say hello if you see me on campus! You will probably see me out running (feel free to join) as I like to run marathons! See you soon!
