Are you leaving Campus temporarily?
The University remains open to support residents in this difficult time, however there is no expectation for you to remain living on campus. We understand that you may want to leave halls completely or take a break. If you are leaving the campus temporarily, it is very important to let us know and make sure you have completed a few simple tasks.
1. Let us know you are leaving and for how long for ....

2. Clean up
Have a clean up before you leave, it might seem like hard work at the time, but returning to a tidy room will be worth it. Make sure that you remove any perishable food from your room, kitchen and/or fridge, you don't want to come back to any nasty surprises!
3. Swich off
Make sure you have switched of all the lights and electricals (apart from the fridge freezer) before you leave.
4. Lock Up
Double check that all your doors and windows are locked up.
