Halls features - Penmaen and Horton, Singleton

By ELeyshon 08 Jul 2019

As part of our lead-up to results and new term, we have put together a profile of various halls to give you a better idea about Life in Halls. Penmaen and Horton are the newest of our Singleton Campus Residences.
Here’s all you need to know in a nutshell about Penmaen and Horton:

En-suite bedrooms, the majority are (spacious) medium rooms. 1 kitchen per 8 people with plenty of fridge and freezer space. It’s entirely self-catered but there are a lot of food outlets on campus where you can grab a bite to eat if you don’t fancy cooking.

What can I expect?
You are close to all the action on Singleton Campus, including being less than a stone’s throw away from the beautiful Singleton Park and the Beach.

The library (open 24 hours) and historical Abbey and the meadow are on site, the Sport Village is nearby for all your workout and exercise needs, the Students’ Union Bar and nightclub is on site as well as the Taliesin Theatre for some culture.

Many subjects are taught on Campus including subjects at the Medical School, College of Law, Human and Health Sciences, College of Science and College of Arts and Humanities.
