How is your Netflix bingeing looking?
Uni, part-time job, family commitments, hobbies, relationships, general life and suddenly the week has passed you by yet again. It's sometimes hard to find time in everyday life to do that one thing you really want to do without feeling any guilt. You know what we're talking about here don't you - the Netflix binge!
Lockdown has forced us to social distance and stay indoors, which has given many a brilliant excuse to catch up on all the Netflix shows we have had on our lists for ages and even those we didn't know would make the list!
Whether the plan is a whole day bingeing a series, or its a planned movie date night with loved ones here are 3 Netflix recommendations to make a start to maximise time indoors and dare I say bring a small amount of enjoyment to lockdown!
1) Tiger King
Obviously this makes the top spot right now. If you haven't watched this then that's fine but if you haven't heard of this, Joe Exotic or Carole Baskin then where have you been exactly?
Tiger King is a crazy true story about the eccentric zookeeper from Oklahoma, Joe Exotic, and his undying hatred for animal rights activist Carole Baskin who campaigned to get him to stop him breeding tigers. Although you might be thinking this is all about tigers, you may be surprised to find a murder plot!
2) The Stranger
This British murder mystery can be forgiven for about 100 too many characters they and their side stories bring us closer to uncovering the truth the missing Corinne Price. There are many twists and turns to enjoy along the way and well as an explosive final episode. A great one for those with an inquisitive mind. Spoiler - alpaca fans should be emotionally prepare!
A year after his wife's death, widowed surgeon Tom has struggled to raise his two daughters alone. Things seem to be on the right track for the family, who live in a nice, safe area with a close community, until Tom's eldest daughter and her boyfriend mysteriously disappears after a party. Tom enlists his new girlfriend, a police detective, to help locate his daughter but is she all she seems? As the investigation intensifies, Tom unearths dark secrets about the people closest to him and realises just how little he knows about his so-called friends. Eight episodes to encourage the highest levels of binging!
