Well, it's known as the spa capital of Europe and who doesn't want to go away to chill out and relax? Especially with all the different stresses of student life. Budapest is very affordable too, which is good because there is a LOT to do.
The city is always buzzing so you'll never be stuck for something to do whether it's day or night. If you're on a bit of a budget, there are lots of sights to take in around the home of Gaudi, watch the many street performers on Las Ramblas or head to the beach in the middle of the city.
Ok, so this trip can be a bit on the expensive side but not if you plan it all properly. It's worth the price tag too because the sights you'll see are amazing. Hopefully, you'll time it so that you get the chance to see the Northern Lights, oh and make sure you wrap up nice and warm!
The Portuguese city has plenty to offer whether you wanted somewhere with great nightlife with your mates, some culture and great surroundings to explore or just taste some impressive food. Don't forget some comfortable shoes for when you're walking up and down hills exploring...
