Online bookings goes LIVE today - here is how to access it
Today is the day our online booking system goes live! We can't wait for you to log on and have a look around.
Book your favourite classes from the comfort of your sofa during a Netflix binge or do it on your coffee break at work. With our new online system booking classes has never been easier.
The system is quick and easy to use meaning you'll never have to miss securing your place on one of our sessions ever again.
The system can be accessed by clicking here.
The URL for the web-site is: https://sportsbookings.qmu.ac.uk/bookings
We suggest saving it to your favourites so it's always on hand for easy access.
Do i need to register?
Students and staff of the university will be able to log on using the same log on details used to sign on to their QMU desktop. Please note that you will only be able to book classes if you are a member of the Sports Centre
Public members will need to register using their membership number, this can be found on your membership card. If you are waiting on a membership card or are unsure of your number, please ask a member of the team and they will happily provide you with it.
What can I book?
Any of the classes on our fitness class timetable, with the exception of Zumba.
How far in advance can I book?
The same rule for advanced booking applies to the online system – classes can be booked a maximum of 7 days in advance.
Does this mean classes can only be booked online?
No, we still take bookings in person at the sports reception, via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or by telephone (0131-474-0000). However, we encourage members to use the online system. Booking online is a much faster process and you will not need to queue at reception, another time saver allowing you to get on with the important things!
