Call for Volunteers - Turing Fest

By Megan 26 Jun 2019

Volunteer at Turing Fest 27 - 29 August 2019

Turing Fest is looking for aspiring entrepreneurs and future leaders in the technology industry to be part of the volunteer team which delivers Scotland’s largest technology conference. This is an opportunity for students to be involved and gain access to 50% of our conference programme in exchange for being part of our team.

Turing Fest brings leaders in tech to Scotland for three days of insight and inspiration. 2019 is going to be the biggest Turing Fest yet with four incredible mini-conferences across three days of keynotes, panels, workshops and parties. Be part of an amazing crowd — founders, investors, executives, engineers, product managers, designers and marketers — all learning, sharing, networking and having fun together.

Volunteers are needed for three days: 27 - 29 August 2019. Volunteers will be based at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre and will also assist with several ancillary events within the city centre. Lunch is provided.

Volunteers will help deliver the festival via the following roles:

  • Delegate and VIP registration
  • Event Set-up and Breakdown (manual handling under 15 kg)
  • Ushering and Delegate Assistance
  • Speaker Management

Training will be provided on Tuesday, 27 August 2019 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre. The venue is fully accessible.

Turing Fest is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.  Please our Code of Conduct for more details.

Interested? Please contact Lauren Leeman, Head of Production, with any questions.
