Rooms in our Halls

Here's a brief overview of what you can expect from your room in University of Liverpool Halls.

Vine Court 

To give you an idea of how many people will be living near you, if you're catered you'll be on a corridor with up to 16 people, and if you're self-catered you'll be in a flat with up to 8 people.

Colours and Storage
The walls are sandstone grey and the carpets are coloured as below:
A & AB – Dark red / B – Green / C – Blue / D – Purple Blue / E – Brown Orange / F – Green Yellow
There is a wardrobe and some space for storage under the bed.

Melville Grove 

We have 49 Houses at Melville with around 7 rooms per house.

Colours and Storage
There is variety of wall colours from purple, blue, lime green and plain white. These are specific to room, rather than house, so will vary depending on your exact room. Carpets are all dark grey. There is a wardrobe and some space for storage under the bed.

Tudor Close

There are 15 houses numbered 1 to 15.

These rooms have white walls and a wardrobe for storage.

Greenbank Student Village

Colours and Storage

There is a neutral tone used on the majority of walls but there will then be a ‘feature colour’ wall in bedrooms. All of the rooms are different colours (a variety of blue, pink, yellow, green or purple) so we recommend waiting until you arrive to choose any decoration. There is a wardrobe, a set of drawers and some space for storage under the bed.

Crown Place 

Crown Place is split into 3 blocks and 8 cores within those blocks. Block 1 consists of cores A, B and C. Block 2 is cores D, E and F and Block 3 is cores G and H.

There is a neutral tone used on the majority of walls but there will then be a ‘feature colour’ wall:
Core A – Light blue / Core B – Green / Core C – Orange / Core D – Red / Core E – Dark Blue / Core F – Yellow / Core G – Purple / Core H – Turquoise. There is a wardrobe and some space for storage under the bed.

Philharmonic Court

Colours and Storage

These rooms have grey walls. For storage there is a wardrobe, under bed storage and also a cupboard at the back of the bed which can store narrow items.

Dover Court

There is a neutral tone used on the majority of walls but there will then be a ‘feature colour’ wall: A block – lime green / B block – teal / C and D blocks – purple. For storage there is a wardrobe, under bed storage and also a cupboard at the back of the bed which can store narrow items.
