Whilst you'll no doubt be kept busy with your studies during your time in Liverpool, it's good to have some time to relax and take advantage of being in a new city as well as get to meet some new people.
At Halls we organised events over the summer for all students living with us during the months of June, July and August. Whether you're here for just a few weeks for a summer school or ELC course, or are a postgraduate student who has been living with us all academic year, our summer events programme is open to all.
Sunday 23rd June – Crown Place, 6 – 9pm
Come along and meet other students living in halls over summer. There will be pizza and snacks as well as games to help you meet others. There will also be Resident Advisers from Crown present to answer any questions you have!
Walking Tour of Campus
Sunday 30th June, Leaving Crown Place Reception at 6pm
Join a current resident of halls to take a walk around Campus and find out all the key locations including cafes, library and shops. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions during the tour and refreshments will be available afterwards as well as a member of staff from IT to help with any internet issues. Make sure you dress appropriately for the weather
More information will be available shortly about other events, including our Halls' Give It a Go programme.
This is run in conjunction with the Guild of Students, and the events we organise over the summer are designed to give you opportunities to try something new, get to know the wider Liverpool area, or just socialise and meet some new people from your Hall.
Most of the activities are either free or heavily discounted (up to 75% off)., so our Halls' GIAG events give you a chance to try something new, without paying the high price tag!
Details of the events we have planned for Halls will be published very soon, and we will also share details on our social media channels too, so be sure to follow us to keep up to date on what's happening and how to get involved.
