Didn't get the results you wanted? Don't worry, things will work out and you can still get a place at university...
First things first - keep calm. Lots of people go through Clearing, so you're not alone!
What happens next?
A list of the universities and courses that have spaces will be posted by UCAS and The Telegraph. Fancy a completely different course to your original application or maybe a university that accepts slightly lower grades? Check both of these options out...
But don't rush into anything!
If you don't find the university/course you want at first, keep checking - Clearing is open until September! Speak to advisors at school or college and see what they think. It's best to take your time weighing up your options rather than rushing into something and regretting it.
Pick the best university for YOU
When you first started applying for universities, you (hopefully) will consider the good and the bad and which one was best suited to you! This shouldn't change because you're in Clearing. Look into the uni's performance, facilities/support, the city etc.
Where do you stay?
Clearing is unexpected so of course, you won't have accommodation arranged. But by staying FRESH you'll have a great place to stay (if we do say so ourselves!) and a perfect opportunity to make friends last minute in your new city. With properties in 26 cities, you'll be spoilt for choice.
