After Christmas is finished, it's time to put your shopping hat on and focus on the January bargains!
But you shouldn't just buy things aimlessly, so get some sort of plan together so you get the most out of it.
We've got a few suggestions:
Retailers are very aware that as soon as the 1st of January arrives, most people start a diet and join a gym. If you're one of these people, look out to get yourself some equipment so that you can workout at home for the cheaper option i.e. yoga mat, dumbells, kettlebells etc.
They have a huge sale every year! Going off previous years, this could mean up to 50% off some pretty pricey items so it's a good idea to save yourself some money. You could treat yourself to some new electrical items, games, makeup or clothes. What will it be?
Your winter wardrobe
As soon as December is over, retailers start thinking about Spring/Summer 2019 which means jumpers, coats, boots and winter accessories are all reduced. You could pick up that coat you've had your eye on since November - you'll need it, winter isn't over just yet!
Some train companies (Virgin Trains, Trainline, Northern Rail etc) have sales that you should keep your eyes peeled for. You could book journeys to see your friends in advance or some trips back home if you've got any birthday celebrations. Be quick and you'll be laughing later in the year!
Yes, it might be a bit soon but if you're feeling super efficient then this is the way forward! This way you won't have to do your last minute shopping when you're pretty skint and can't really be bothered...
