Best films to watch this Halloween!

By BzDani 28 Oct 2017

Not going to a Halloween party this year? Don't worry, we have some tricks (and treats) up our sleeve to help...

There are lots of films that you could watch if you're having a night in with your friends and family or you're going to the cinema. Either way, they will give you a chill!

If you're heading to the cinema, don't forget to use your student discount or get 2-4-1 tickets!

Mother

If you haven't managed to see it yet - now is your chance. Jennifer Lawrence her life changes when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting everything she thought was going well in her life!
BEST FOR: Gripping storyline

IT (Pennywise The Clown)

Not seen 2017's most talked about horror film yet either? Well, IT is based on the Stephen King book where young children are terrorised by a terrifying clown. Just to give you a heads up, Pennywise has been described as one of the scariest clowns EVER!
BEST FOR: Making you jump

Flat Liners

Flat Liners is a remake of the 1990 sci-fi thriller about a group of students obsessed with what happens after we die but they soon wish they didn't bother trying to find out, especially when some pretty messed up stuff starts happening...
BEST FOR: Not too scary and bit of fun!

Or you could watch stick to Netflix. You may as well make use of that subscription your parents or ex-boyfriend/girlfriend pays for, right?

Gerald's Game

Another Stephen King story sees a woman handcuffed to a bed (in a sex game gone seriously wrong) but her husband dies before freeing her and everything that comes after is very disturbing. People have passed out from watching this film, it's THAT scary!
BEST FOR: Terrifying horror

Unfriended

Six students are just chatting on Skype when they receive a message from their flatmate who killed herself a year ago. It's all fun and games until they realise they might be next! When did Skype become so scary?
BEST FOR: Scarily relatable storyline

Insidious

Horror films staring kids are always seriously scary and this one doesn't disappoint! Insidious follows family who try to help their son who fell into a coma and has become paranormal ever since.
BEST FOR: Creepy horror

All you need to do now is decide who to invite and what snacks you'll get, and we understand that they are TOUGH decisions!
